Francesco Bardi, on loan at Frosinone from Inter, spoke with Corriere dello Sport about his future and his idols: “I am delighted and honoured to be part of Frosinone. There is an important project and I want to give my all and grow more and more on a personal level. I am 25 years old, a relatively low age for a goalkeeper and with Inter there is mutual respect: my career will certainly have several other years ahead, at least I hope so. I’m focused on the present which is Frosinone, where we are doing great things. There will be battling for a long time but first place is our aim. My idol was always Gigi Buffon, an extraordinary player. I also admired Samir Handanovic and Julio Cesar with whom I trained often. I have my own way of being in the field. I was lucky enough to see them play up close or on TV. I want to keep learning, working mainly on my qualities to improve myself.”

somehow I believe in this guy. I don’t remeber his bad goalkeeping and any stupid things he did. he seems to me to be just another example of bad inter loan politics. I wish he comes back to inter and proves himself as a class goalkeeper..
He is the kind of player who make impossible saves and then fucked up in simple goal chances. I watched him alot last year. Too inconsistent player

goal-keepers mature later in their life and he was not lucky to play on some of his loans, I guess it might be the reason.

in training games at pre-season he has… but the talent didn’t take him higher than Serie B it seems

I mean if some young goalie makes such a bad decision or auto-goal like handa did, that could be the end of their hopes at inter … and everybody knows that it can happen even to a class one.
If a young player wants to play for inter then he’s not allowed to make a single tiny mistake. For senior players, they can make mistakes as many as they can and still play for Inter XI even if they didn’t contribute anything on the field.
Those are our rules.
