Interviewed by Calciomercato, the FIFA agent, Gianfranco Cicchetti, a well known Argentine soccer expert, spoke about Inter’s rumors of the next summer transfer window:
“I think the Ricardo Rodriguez operation is well underway, indeed, it would be okay to say that it is in the final stages, but if the deal doesn’t work, the alternative is ready, that is Wendell of Bayer Leverkusen. On the right fullback, Inter eye Zabaleta that has been released on a free transfer, but also has attention from Juve. These are all top-level prospects for an Inter side that surely will operate a makeover on the wings.”

I never watch bundesliga, but it seems germany league produce many good fullback since most of our target are from there. It makes me wondering bout progress of our former player, donati.
He has progressed, but still not the Inter first team level we’re looking for.
He’s old isn’t he?
yes, but still an upgrade, compare to what we have right now.
He used to be super fast, I wonder how much age has taking it away from him.
Who? Zabaleta is an upgrade? No.
He’s not enough of an upgrade to warrant signing a declining 32 year old, even if it’s for free. He has lost a lot of pace and can’t provide enough going forward any more.
Yes, he’s 32 and has noticeably declined.
