Following Inter’s narrow victory away against Bologna, Samir Handanovic spoke to Sky about the match:
“This victory is worth three points like other wins, but it feels like more because we did not perform up to our standards today. This is why we all celebrated with such emotion. The important thing was to win, and after a run of good games it is normal to have an off day. The ball bounced a lot on this pitch. In Italy there are a lot of teams with strong defences, making it vital not to concede. Now we have a week to prepare for the Roma match while they play this Thursday. We know their qualities and we want to get the job done.”

Damn right, this is the kind of game in which we have been losing points the last few years. Getting points as much as you can against smaller teams is just as big if not bigger as winning against big teams when it comes to fighting in the league.
