Gonzalo Higuain is another new millennium striker who had a genuine inspiration from Fenomeno Ronaldo, the ideal prototype of a striker when with Brazil, Barcelona and Inter.
Higuain recently spoke to La Stampa about the 1997 and 2002 Ballon d’Or winner, saying, “Ronaldo of Inter was the strongest of them all. He’s the only person I watch highlights of. I try to do the same things. Capello told me to copy the movements of Raul, but Ronaldo is my idol. I’ve learned from him, Raul, Van Nistlerooy and Cassano.”

its funny how some noobs say that r9 of Madrid was better than the r9 of inter, in inter he was so fit when transferred to Madrid he gained lots of weight and was no where near the r9 of inter
r9 and cassano my favorites
greatest striker I have ever seen. And a reason for me turning into fan of Inter back in 97/98 after the match vs Milan (2-2, November 1997)
I had his #9 jersey, and it’s gone… T_T
how the phenomenon left his mark *_*
Sadly we only had the real ronaldo for a year
But what a year! By the way, is Iuliano out of prison yet for the attempted murder of Ronaldo back in 98?!?!?! I`ve Heard that del Piero have finally recovered. Great news!
omg waht do you mean? we have the next gen ronaldo, Gabigol
My favorite player of all time too..
The reason i fell in love with inter
