Frank De Boer‘s former Rangers teammate Peter Lovenkrands spoke with Sky Sport on the possibility of the Dutchman taking charge at Rangers: “I think he is an excellent candidate, he knows the club as well as his brother. I played with both and he is a fantastic character. As for landing at Rangers midway through the season, I don’t know if what happened at Inter, coming in midway through the season and not getting his structure in, I don’t know if he maybe got his fingers burned with that – coming to Rangers midway through the season. Murty [Current Rangers caretaker] could do a good job, but I think it’s good for the club to make a decision and let him know if he’s going to keep it.”
