Luca Innocenti, head of Inter’s revenue department, spoke to Inter Channel Tuesday afternoon to speak about spectator numbers for the Inter-Roma matchup on Sunday at 20:45CET.
“We just surpassed 50,000 tickets sold and it’s only Tuesday afternoon. We might even have to open the top tier of the stadium to accommodate the demand of viewers,” concluded the spokesman.

Does anybody here know, when we have a record of attendance and how much (spectators) at that time? Thanks!
Derby d’Italia between Inter and Juventus last season had approximately 79,400 spectators. The Derby this season broke the Serie a record for ticket revenue sales at nearly €4 million (3,943,518 to be exact). 76.484 people attended the match.
