Sampdoria are determined to sign veteran Fiorentina defender Gonzalo Rodríguez this summer.
The Argentine, whose contract expires in June, has rejected La Viola’s offer of a renewal as it would mean a 25% drop in his €1.8m per season salary.
Inter have tracked the defender for some considerable time, while Roma view him as a potential replacement for Kostas Manolas who could be set to join the Nerazzurri.
