Fulvio Collovati, former Inter defender, spoke with Radio TMW during ‘Interline‘ to talk about Sunday’s match between Inter and Roma:
“If we look at the last result against Roma, they have the upper hand but I do not see why Inter doesn’t have a chance at winning. Away from home, the Giallorossi will not have the same continuity, and Inter should leverage on this. The Nerazzurri are in form even if they were not brilliant against Bologna. Inter-Roma in the past has always given emotions, goals, and surprise results.”
Inter without Joao Miranda:
“The absence of physicality, for the aerial game, will be sensed without him – although I repeat: In my opinion, the best defender is Gary Medel.”
Gabigol? “He’s become a media phenomenon that borders on the ridiculous, excuse the term. Almost a mascot. He has scored a goal, he has yet to prove his potential. Inter and Roma in my opinion will be a game that is played on the wing. Both teams have two great strikers. But if Mauro Icardi and Edin Dzeko are not supported, it is clear that the team will have less offensive potential. The match will be decided much on the outside, rather than with central midfielders Joao Mario or Radja Nainggolan.”

I agree on Gary Medel statement.
I think Collavatti is understating the balance of each teams attack. Both are capable of getting goals from the centre of field.

I am sensing a draw tbh something like 1-1 or 2-2.
you can’t rate him now, he not even a starter yet, or playing at least 45 Min in a game. he was done a good job despite lack of his minute play.
And the fact that he is barely 20 years old
so you can’t say He overpriced too, until he play at least 70 Minutes for each game..

but if you want to compare their price just like that, actually jesus is overpaid not gabigol. city buy jesus for twice the market value. the current market value last season of jesus was 16 M and City buy them
for 32 M. the current market value last season of Gabigol was 20 M and
Inter pay him for 29,5 M.
