In wake of his double against Inter last night, Sky journalist Angelo Mangiante revealed that Inter tried to sign Radja Nainggolan last summer. Inter offered Roma 40 million + bonuses for his services and when they were knocked back, Inter then moved on and signed Joao Mario for 45 million.

not sure, some months ago I read Radja really like Italy and has been living there for several years… right now Rome is playing consistently good they are even a serious candidate for EL and CL next year.. well not that many players will give up those opportunities, in fact he is like following DeRossi steps, btw he rejected Chelsea as well-
