He is good, but I like Meret better: he has the best hands on any young GK I’ve seen bedsides maybe Oblak.
Yes he too is very talented! Italy is full of talented goal keepers only a question if now´s the time to get a younger player to replace Handa or maybe he has one more good season in him
There is, we may even rival Germany! I think we give him one more season because I’m not too sure how good of a GK we can draw without CL next season, assuming we don’t qualify. Perin would seem like the best option in that case, and I don’t trust him as Handanovic’s successor quite yet.
I too like Perin and would have put my money on him if it wasn’t for his 2nd serious injure to the other knee that now will keep him out until the summer. No one knows how he will return after 2 very serious injuries like the ones he has had in only 1 years time!
Exactly, those injuries could prove disastrous for an acrobatic GK lik himself who relies on his reflexes, but also his leaping ability to get to the ball!
Guess the most realistic scenario could be us securing Perin (he has been heavily linked to us), but will spend one more year at Genoa to prove he´s fine leaving Handanovic with one more year as our goalkeeper.
