At their meeting last week, Inter owner Jindong Zhang asked his Real Madrid counterpart Florentino Perez about the availability of James Rodriguez to be told no. Perez did however offer Inter three other players in the shape of Karim Benzema, Isco and Alvaro Morata Don Balon report. The three players will all be taken into consideration by Suning before they decide to act upon any or all of them.

I would’ve loved Benzema a few years ago, he’d make an excellent partner for Icardi due to his vision, passing, and unselfishness, but he hasn’t been the same since the whole Valbuena fiasco. Isco is a tough one because although he is very talented, I’m not sure he’s the right type of player for Inter. He’d need to do a lot more defensive work than he’s currently accustomed to, which could lead to a dip in his peformances. Morata is unneccessary: we’d be overpaying for a vice-Icardi who isn’t nearly as clinical.

Deffo Isco but if we had Morata it might be a good shake up for the squad to play with two strikers. Got to do something to start consistenly beating the other top clubs in Italy. Although regardless of any of these potential signings we desperately need to sort out the defence. Another CB and some decent FB’S.
