Gagliardini

Roberto Gagliardini spoke exclusively with Sky Sport Italia speaking about life at Inter since joining the club in January from Atalanta.

“It’s been a great start, I’m happy. It’s been easy thanks to the help from all my team-mates and the coach who has put me at ease. We racked up consecutive victories and I came from a team that was already doing well, which helped a lot. I don’t think much about having made a big jump, it’s been an important start and it will continue to be good if things go on like this. I’m close to D’Ambrosio, we sit next to each other in the dressing room, he’s from the south of Italy so he’s very warm and open.”

“Pioli is a very well prepared coach, he prepares for the matches in minute detail. We could have played better against Roma, but it’s in the past now. We have many matches left to play. We’re working to find the form we had before the defeat against Juventus. We knew that the match against Roma was important and this is why it’s a bad loss. Lazio have studied us? I didn’t watch the derby, but given the result they must have studied well.”

Gagliardini was then asked to share his impression of Suning stating that “they are an ambitious group. From the very start they made me understand that they want to bring Inter to where the club deserves to be. I’m sure that within a few years the club will be the best in the world. In the meantime I want to ask the fans to support us until the very end. We will work hard to achieve these goals.”

In conclusion Gagliardini was asked about being awarded at a charity event, scheduled for later this evening: “I’m very happy to be awarded the “A Friend Of Children” award. I’m very happy, I know that there are other important players there too.”
