Sampdoria’s outspoken President Massimo Ferrero decided to show support to the Serie A referee’s before entering a meeting with the Lega Calcio.
“We all need to stop busting the referees balls. All of us have had problems with the referees. Then I stopped complaining, I watched the matches and I understood that they have a vaery difficult job. No need to make excuses, we can’t have a match without someone officiating the match.”
“Valeri is a great referee, two years ago he made a mistake against me. We need to leave them to do their jobs and speak about the good things such as opening the doors to the fans, to remove the Tessera del Tifoso card. Everyone has had bad decisions against them when playing against Juventus but if we continue like this we will kill the Serie A. Juventus always wins the league because they are a well organized club, we’re here to avid this, we need to create a string league, I’m in charge of my house” Ferrero concluded.
