Next weekend Inter take on Atalanta at the San Siro in a direct clash for Europe. Bergamo-based paper L’Eco Di Bergamo did an exclusive interview with former Inter player and Atalanta coach Beppe Bergomi regarding the upcoming fixture:

“Sunday’s match will be beautiful. Atalanta have a very physical style of play in which they man mark in midfield. If they win these one on one battles, then they can cause problems for any side. Inter are doing well and have a lot of quality. In these types of games the team with more quality usually comes out on top. This is why I think that Inter will win. They have players like Icardi, Candreva, Banega and Gagliardini. Regarding Gagliardini, playing at the San Siro could make him nervous. Atalanta want to tackle this obstacle on their road to Europe.”

“In my opinion Inter will play the same team that beat Cagliari. The 4-2-3-1 with Gagliardini and Kondogbia in the middle ensures a good balance. I watched Banega at the Europa League final last season and he has incredible vision and character. Inter’s most dangerous player is Ivan Perisic. The 4-2-3-1 enables him to attack more and give the team greater numbers going forward.”
