Earlier today Il Messaggero reported that Federico Bernardeschi will become an Inter play for 40 million euros this summer. The report suggested that Suning and the Della Vale family reached an agreement for the player. Today Il Messaggero’s director of sport Massimo Caputi doubled down on these claims:
“The news regarding Bernardeschi is real, which is why we published it. Our sources have confirmed that the 40 million euro deal between Inter and Fiorentina is virtually done. Inter want to fight for the Scudetto next season with a young, Italian core. We always screen and check our news that we report. Let’s see what happens this summer. The Chinese market is growing at a rapid rate. Bernardeschi could soon become a symbol of Italian football.”

I know this kid has immense talent and indeed he’s very promising this season. Berardi and him are currently one of the best italian prospect. But, I am afraid he isnt a decisive player yet (maybe). Why I prefer a higher profile such as sanchez? Because his experience will lift us up into some next level, and he’s already proven. Just like miranda, perisic, medel, candreva. The kind of player that we know when we buy him, he’ll be our backbone.
I really don’t care if we have an agreement over this kid or not. BERARDI should be marked as our first attacking purchase after we straight up our full backs.

I like Sanchez, but I don’t see why he would make the switch to a team with “Probably” no Champions League next year. If he decides to go for a change, he’ll do it to a team with Champions League next season. If we manage to finish our season in the 3rd place, then we might have a chance to get him. Juventus might have better chances to sign him, and if so then Berardi should be ours with no contenders after him.
Bernardeschi is the type of player with some flashy tricks here and there,who looks absolutely amazing ..in a youtube compilation.
Then, you watch him 3 consecutive, full,real games with fiore,or even his 5 appearances for Italy and you go..meh…”fiore ..you can keep him thanks”and even ..”why did Conte (or Ventura) called this guy for Italy again?”
40m is not too bad. I always preferred Bernandeschi to Berardi as he is less injury-prone, smarter, and better shooting ability. Plus Sasoulo had a gentlemen agreement with Rube, so it would had been tough getting Berardi anyways. So goal 1 is done. Goal 2 is getting Rodriguez.
Berardi,who is a very hot headed interista REFUSES to go to juve.

And he is much more of a natural winger than Bernardeschi-who knows what a hell his role is..very fragile, inconsistent player anyway.

I watched him in several matches this year and especially his performance against Rube was nothing short of genius. I don’t think his value is 80 mil, but it could easily be inflated that high when the big clubs start bidding. Do you think Higuain’s price was anything higher than 30-40 mil? Or James, or if you want to compare to someone really unproven – Martial (rofl). Personally I still lean towards Berardi cause he’s an interista and rejected Rube, but I still say 40 mil for Bernardeschi is a fair price.

Best news for today. Bring him in and don’t listen to those 12 year old people commenting that he’s not as good as Sanchez or Griezman. They don’t know that both Sanchez and Griezman was never on Bernardeschi’s level at this age.
Bernardeschi is great, but he’s not as good as Sanchez and Griezmann. They were both performing very well for Barcelona and Atleti respectively at 23 years old, and are now both top 5 players in their position.

Perhaps he can, but that would just be an assumption, while Sanchez and Griezmann are sure things. For me, it all comes down to how we finish this season. This Inter team should always be aiming to be a notch better than the previous season, meaning if we manage to make CL this season, we should be aiming for the Scudetto next season and buying players of Sanchez and Griezmann’s quality, but if we miss out on CL this season, we should be aiming for it again next season and buying players of Bernardeschi and Berardi’s quality who still have potential to grow.
And even before that,Sanchez was like the most outstanding 21 years old in Serie A,carrying Udinese in his back,all by himself,to Champions League.
And was evaluated 40m already AT THE TIME..in that market which was so different.

Sanchez is like.. 20 times better.
Griezman is way better.
And even Berardi,who is a natural winger while Bernardeschi is a trequartista ,fits better our team.

You should compare the player based on their LATEST performance. Do you know federico bonazzoli ? You can say he is a better player than lionel messi at the same age, but where is he now ?
You can’t guarantee the improvement of the player.
Yes i agree federico bernadeschi is a good player, but he is not as good as antoine griezmann or alexis sanchez yet.
