Gazzetta dello Sport give details on Suning‘s strategy for the new stadium they wish to build for Inter. Sesto, Assago and Rho are all possible areas to build the stadium but Suning would like to keep the stadium in Milan. While they love the Meazza, it is no good for their revenue ambitions.

The Metro rail is a big factor here. Buying the Meazza and cutting capacity to 66,000 is the best way forward for us. Suning should release more news like this to force the City’s hand. Without Inter and Milan there is no way the City Council can maintain the Meazza on it’s own.
Buy the Meazza. Rename it Stadia Suning. Paint the girders blue. Rent to Bilan at a reduced cost to get them on board until they build a new Stadium.
If by building new stadium we get more money, i dont mind at all. It looks like the city wont sell the stadium to inter or milan so we need to act fast.
just don’t build it like Allianz Arena, this is football club not a car tire factory.
What i’m afraid at the most is, when inter management decide to build a brand new stadium, the city will “give” Meazza to Bbilan…
So I hope Aussilio can do his magic to persuade the city mayor and Bbilan.
Another option for Suning, with a.c. milan in the deepest thirst for cash right now, would be to kind of… “buy ac milan out”,some how.
The thing about Suning:
They give the impression they actually mean what they say ,so far.
If they say:
“we have projects such and such” you know they actually mean that they are going to move and do things ,one way or the other, toward those exact goals.
We are not Milan now.
My first option,if we could get rid of Milan, would be to take full ownership and improve San Siro.
I want San Siro.
But anything ,in any direction at this point,is better than being totally paralized like Berlusconi and Galliani.
the san siro is the last stop on the metro line, therefor its easy to access, the new stadium needs to be near a metro station, that’s where you start off the plan
smart. I didn’t think about that.
Aha would be mice to get this news confirmed, besides building a new stadium could easily take up until 10 years with all the bureaucratic in Italy!
Out of these locations, Rho seems like the best option: it’s only 45 minutes from the center of Milan and is a modern area with some nice pieces of architecture, fitting for another in a new Suning stadium.
just let it be larger than 55,000 (60-65 ideal). still we are Inter from Milano, not just rubbish team from a small city of Torino
Exactly.
With a little effort ,promotion and a little better team potentially we could seriously pull in 90-100.000
And 65.000 for medium games.
How about buying Meazza and repair it to moderm facilities and the rent to Ac Milan so we could get double profit.
Somethig like that.
Possible.
Not possible since the owner (municipality of milan) doesn’t want to sell it
1. Can we get the rights to the Meazza – no. Reasons: a: the stupid corrupt city profits from this endless dispute and delaying a decision suits them well; b: Milan won’t start building a new stadium anytime soon and even if/when they get purchased the new owners might decide they wanna stay.
2. Upgrading the Meazza to modern standards and including new facilities like Roma’s project with a mall, huge parking spaces and so on (if even achievable in an already overbuilt up area) might cost as much as building a new stadium.
I also love the Meazza’s unique look and atmosphere, but I think the most rational decision is to get the hell out and stop procastinating.
Everything perfect.
But I have a feeling, for the next close future, with Suning, with Milano’s Mayor being a big Inter fan and a.c.milan and berlusconi in deep, paralyzing crisis, that things could seriously change next.
Necessarily so.
Yeah, i agree with u man
I love meatza, but it would be perfect a smoller stadium just to be full in every fixture with all the money goes to inter.
