Sassuolo’s Domenico Berardi has been a long term target for Inter. The nerazzurri are working on signing the player. Contacts have been initiated between the two clubs. Inter want to close the deal as soon as possible. According to Calciomercato, Suning have given Piero Ausilio the green light to close the deal for Berardi. There is an agreement with the player, now Ausilio has to deal with Sassuolo. The Neroverdi want 40 million for their star, but could accept a player in the deal. Juventus have been monitoring Berardi for a long time, but they do not indent to partake in an auction for the player, who is not a priority.

Berardi only wants us (he will never,ever go to juve and milan does not even exist right now anyway)and his agent is all agreed,so Sassuolo does not have much of a stand to ask for more than the player fair market value.

Actually Squinzi is a declared milanista,who was waiting and hoping for milan to get Berardi.
But since Berardi himself wants Inter,after refusing both juve and milan (and milan right now does not even exist anyways!,nobody knows if or when they are going to sell or to whom,their transfer market is all blocked!) ,and Berardi wants Inter he is giving up on it..but from Inter he is trying to get a little more money now…

Inter and Squinzi are dealing the numbers right these hours,right as we write this!) I think it’s more of a “theoretical 40” ,like ….Caprari,evaluated 12-15 millions + 25-28 millions to be payied in a couple years..something like that.
