Banega to Inter Channel: “It’s the first hat-trick of my career”

Man of the match in this afternoon’s 7-1 demolition of Atalanta, Ever Banega spoke to Inter Channel.

“I’ve never scored a hat-trick, it’s the first time.

“We approached the game well and we immediately took control of the game. Scoring five goals illustrates our approach to the match, we knew that the match wasn’t finished and we continued working in the same manner until the end in the 90th minute.

“Gagliardini and Kondogbia played very well but we have a team of great depth and quality. We have a group in which everyone is important.”

Banega then said how this was Inter’s best performance and result of the season.

“Yes, for the result and due to the opponent’s level too, on a personal level, my first goal is my favourite.”
