Stefano Pioli spoke to Premium Sport before the game against Atalanta this afternoon and insisted his team will have to be at the top of their game to secure a positive result.
“I try to be as careful as possible, stimulate and motivate the team. The game against Atalanta is an important one, to shorten the gap in the table and improve our situation.
“Atalanta deserved to win against Napoli, we will have to suffer but we are Inter and we must not give up. We must believe in our values and play to win.
“The performance levels should rise, it is clear that winning these games will improve our ranking in the table”
Pioli was then asked about Inter’s chances of reaching the final Champions League spot.
“It will be difficult to do, but we only have one chance, win more games as possible from now until the end of the season.”
