Therefore, the former Juventus CEO’s lifetime ban from any level of football has been definitively confirmed which came about for his role in the Calciopoli scandal that rocked Calcio 11 years ago.

After Calciopoli it became impossible to argue with Rube fans. They won’t listen to reason and no matter what the whole world says they still maintain the idea that Rube is innocent and was framed. Pretty sure they’ll see a conspiracy behind Moggi’s lifetime ban and view it as proof that Moratti still controls the justice system in Italy… or something like that, at this point I stopped trying to pretend I care what they even say. I got good friends supporting Milan, Roma, Lazio, but I just can’t get along with Rube fans.. I know it sounds near-sighted as fandom doesn’t define our personality, but I’m yet to meet a Juventus fan who’s a decent human being.
They didn’t become like this bcz of calciopoli, they’ve always been like that, that’s why they supported rube in first place; remember when 95 of their fans died in a game against Liverpool? They blamed the Merseysiders and the latter was banned from all international competitions for 7 years which saw the rise of something called Man Utd, recently the court blamed rube for the death of their fans bcz they sold them tickets in a zone where no fan should be.. anyhow rube is a team that doesn’t know to win wih its own dignity
Most of us pick our favourite teams as kids. I picked Inter as my team in 98 when we trashed Milan 0-3 with two goals from Simeone and one from Ronaldo. I don’t think Juve fans picked their team because of the cheating or the unfairness, but over the years they do tend to overlook those facts and get triggered every time someone mentions them.

Unfortunately some people have such low self esteem they need to support teams like Rube to feel some form of “success”. However these people will never know the real meaning of the word (@imissmarcobranca *cough cough*)

We all like to identify with a winning team and I also feel down at the start of the week if Inter had lost in the weekend. And I feel good when they’ve won. But I see where you’re coming from, there are people who ONLY identify with their team’s success as they got nothing else going on to bring them a feeling of accomplishment. If you take that away from them, they seem like complete losers and are full of inferiority complexes. I’ve actually noticed that in a lot of Real Madrid and Chelsea fans, or the kind of “plastic” fans who only support the team that rides the wave at the time and then switch to the next best one. But I think every club has such fans, in Rube they might be so overprotective and easily offended cause deep down they know their club fucked up.

Believe it or not there are a few Rube fans out there that I do get on with and I do enjoy our heated debates. I like to string them along until they think they have me cornered and then smack the in the face with video evidence (of which there is an infinite amount on youTube).
It’s hilarious when the silence ensues when faced with video evidence. Youtube is a Rube fans kryptonite.
Then there are complete Dickcheeses like @imissmarcobranca who show the cowardly side to the Rube tifosi. Quick to be on this forum when results don’t go Inters way but are nowhere to be seen when Rube are languishing in 17th place!
Most people find this cowardly behaviour frustrating but I personally thrive on it lol.
