Premium Sport journalist Bruno Longhi has commented on news that Inter could be looking at Napoli full-back Faouzi Ghoulam after discarding interest in Wolfsburg’s attacking full-back Ricardo Rodriguez.
“Ghoulam is a very strong full-back, I know that Inter have rejected the Swiss Ricardo Rodriguez, so this is very exciting news,” he said.

Can’t really argue with your assesment about Kolasinac since I’ve only seen him during one game and he seemed fine. I’m not too excited about Ghoulam, he’s good, but that’s it. Btw. our full-back targets are becoming fewer as Vrsaljko suffered cruciate ligament injury yesterday. Have you seen a lot of Udinese’s Samir? Is he a real talent or Juan Jesus 2.0?
Not a lot, a little but this is what I gathered:
More of a central D ,who is also left footed so Del Neri adapted himsometimes on the flank.
Solid defensively,I actually like him A LOT as a defender,very tough.
BUT:
0 offensevely.
Nothing ,as far as pushing on the wing.
Zero.
I studied this whole subject of our possible future full backs VERY carefully recently because ..I am a dreamer.
I am still dreaming of us getting the new Brehme,Roberto Carlos,Maicon…
And I think THAT would be very key ,if our dramatic up grade to come has to really happen.
But,to be honest,ANY of these would have been fine in our squad this past season,just out of necessity!
” Quantity-wise”..we had no replacements for D’ambro and Ansaldi so ,even if we had ONE at a similar ,decent level of those two it would have helped a lot already.
But ,for the future Suning-Grande Inter.I would like us to dream and realize the new Brehme and the new Maicon..so..sorry if I am not “reasonable” with players that look just “ok” in my view.

So what do you think? Would Rodriguez even out of form still be the best bet? Or even Ghoulam? I don’t know Mendy that well, but he seems really good, altough players playing in french league tend to look better than they actually are.

Even Kolasinac actually, IF he refines in his composure ,sometimes he does senseless heavy fouling too..if he changes that and matures.. he is young ..could change and could even be good.
To me the best mentioned, quality wise,of the ones we mentioned would be Ghoulam..IF he works more defensively.
And Bernat IF he works defensively….

We bet on Maicon when he was an ok player ,an almost nobody in France and it worked..
He changed and matured with us.

Kolasinac may be phisically stronger,but as far as quality Maxwell was a few levels above.
Nice youtube thing there..also..the single best thing he has ever done in quite afew yaers and then you watch a full game and you see a total physical beast ,yes,but sometimes with the ball control and refinement of a Lega Pro left back.
uhm ? do you think im stupid? do you really think im sayin hes good only because of this ONE goal ? im watching bundesliga every weekend and i watched him playing for bosnia. HE IS REALLY GOOD ! he has offers from Liverpool , Man City , Chelsea , Arsenal , Juventus and now Milan.

He got a serious injury that could see him out until late April. Could potentially take him ages to return to current form if he ever does

Yes,Rodriguez,totally apart from the recent injury,never played particularly well this year.
They talk about the fact that his mom died and that fact put him into a depressed state and the fact that he does not like Wolfsburg and wants to leave and, he knows he won’t be there next season so it’s hard for him to still give his 100% there..
I do not know.

He produced nothing offensivily this season.
