Marcelo Brozovic and Ever Banega however are both at risk and could depart in the summer, despite the former only signing a renewal at the end of last year.

To be fair, we still have deadwood like Palacio, Eder, Rano, Jovetic, Biabiany who must be released this summer before even thinking about Broz and Banega. Broz and Banega should stay here for another year. They may leave if a better midfielder is coming. Heck, this is yet another tuttoshit’s article. Why so serious?
Agree on everything but Eder. He’s the best sub and every time he came in we managed to turn the game around. Will be tough to find another player who is motivated and keeps a good work rate with limited playing time
Just like you, I like Eder too. Unfortunately, Eder is not getting younger anymore (will be 31 years old this november). If we want to recoup some money back, this summer should be our best chance to do that. Especially, when we have an ambitious plan to get Alexis or Bernadeschi this summer. Somebody has to go.
I´m okay with both leaving, even though I like the energy Broso always brings to the field, and playing as a box-to-box midfielder with a holding midfielder behind him he´s at his best. And that´s also the roles I think both Kondog and Mario player their best football in – in a 4-1-2-3 system. Banega on the other hand is a player who has showed in 3 games all season that he is a great player, the rest of the games he has played he has shown that he simply doesn’t fit into Italian football – and he should leave!
The moment the club offered Broso a contract with a 50 mil release clause for foreign clubs they indicated that they were ready to listen to offers from abroad – unlike the huge release cause in Icardi´s contract!
Just sell Brozovic. No point to let him rot on the bench. Gagliardini, Mario, Kondogbia, Banega are all better choices plus one world class midfielder that will certainly come.
If I were to choose I’d keep Brozo. Keeping Brozo would be good to give either Gagliardini or Kondo a rest in the EL or CL once we make it. Selling Banega would be good because of his age and we could probably get someone a little younger that can rotate with Mario as well
no way, Brozo is the one that should be shippped… Banega is the playmaker, freekick taker that we have been missing since 4 years now…we shouldn’t let him go- but then Kondo’s case playing good now but until now… I’d rather to sell Brozo and Kondo and even Joao if necessary-
I’d keep both. Banega has European experience while Brozovic is young and hungry for titles. We will sell Palacios, Biabiany, and Eder ( I really like his playing attitude though) and loan out G.Barbosa. Then, we will have rooms for one World Class Midfielder like Veratti or young talent Bernadeschi.
