i dont like the sound of this, as important as it is to have players who know the importance of the jersy they are weraing, we cant forget that this team is built on the ideals of being a heaven for international players, and also most of the clubs legends are south american. so maybe we should stick with south america and incorporate the italian youngsters in it

Zappacosta has been very impressive this season and seeing him against Albania (where he had a great cross which led to Immobile´s goal) I wouldn’t mind him coming in to play at our right full back… seems better, and defiantly younger, than Darmian!

I don’t think Italy has a lot of Left Wingers. The only ones that I can think of off the top of my head are Insigne, Sansone, ElSharawy

Bernardeschi..If we had to choose between him and Berardi, I’d go with Berna all day..Berardi’s injury problems are too much + i think there’s more flair and talent to berna than berardi, and they cost probably the same!!
The other names all seem to be second string players..for the bench, but even for the bench i wouldn’t get petagna and acerbi..never.
I wouldn’t mind Zappacosta as a potential RB. He played well for Italy vs Albania and linked up well with Candreva in that game. He is a decent attacking threat down the right and if he plays vs Netherlands today it will be interesting to see how he plays vs arguably harder competition
Zappacosta is honestly oretty good. He’s now the RB of NT.
