Ever Banega is starting to build some momentum under Stefano Pioli. Following a difficult spell, the Argentine playmaker has established himself as an integral part of the team. Today Banega’s agent Marcelo Simonian spoke to TuttoMercatoWeb about the player’s recent performance against Bolivia for Argentina:
“I do not understand it [the criticism of Banega’s performance against Bolivia]. He was one of the best players on the pitch. It was almost impossible to play given the conditions of the high altitude and awful pitch. Banega had a good game. He should not be criticized too much for his performance.”
Furthermore, Simonian had a few words to say about Banega’s future:
“His future will be in Milan. Everything is going very well at Inter.”
