Gazzetta dello Sport reports on the remarkable year that Roberto Gagliardini has had, which has led him into the national side.
After a pretty disappointing loan spell at Vicenza, Gagliardini made his way back to Bergamo where Gian Piero Gasperini installed some faith in him.
After an impressive start to the season, Inter gambled on the 22-year-old and brought him to the San Siro for a fee around €28 million.
The paper then reports: “From the evening of January 14 (his debut against Chievo) up until the game against Juventus, the midfielder played ten consecutive games without losing a minute. Giampiero Ventura took note and drafted him into the national team, making his debut against Netherlands instead of Daniele De Rossi.
