Inter coach Stefano Pioli spoke to Premium Sport ahead of tomorrow night’s clash with Sampdoria and spoke about rumours of Antonio Conte taking over from him.

“Rumours about Conte joining are part of the game, the journalists talk about the future and don’t focus on the present. My objective is different, I’m focused on the present, trying to do the best possible to build the base for a future,” he said.

“I think we are getting close to Juventus but we are still missing something. We want to work with quality, attention and try to be closer next season, to compete and win. ”

The Inter coach was then asked about Napoli vs Juventus which takes place later this evening.

“The important thing is that we are able to win and tomorrow at the San Siro is a chance. It is only us that can decide our destiny, we must accumulate as many points as we can in the final nine games.”
