The President of Exor, an investment company controlled by the Agnelli family, John Elkann, dismissed concerns with president of Juventus, Andrea Agnelli.
Agnelli has been accused of having interaction with the mafia. Today, Elkann held a brief Press conference in which he defended his cousin, Andrea Agnelli:
“I’m sorry for what was said, but we’re used to this. This is the negative side of always winning, you become more vulnerable to attacks from others. I have faith in the institutions, I’m convinced of the validity of what Juventus and the clubs Directors have done, I’m aligned with Andrea and the people with whom he’s working to bring forward a legitimate defense. The truth will come out.”
