Danilo D’Ambrosio’s contract renewal until 2o21 has now been confirmed by Inter: “FC Internazionale announces that it has filed the renewal of Danilo D’Ambrosio: the Inter defender will wear our shirt until 30 June 2021.” The renewal tops off what has been a good few weeks for the 28 year old with his Azzurri call up and goal on Monday night in the defeat to Sampdoria.

The truth is he deserves it. He’s won’t be a first choice at right back in the future I’m sure, but he still is a fine back up player, he is loyal to the club and never complains.

Don’t agree. The so called Pioli effect, which I really don’t hope is gone now, has made ALL the players feel important and good enough players – just look at Eder, he hasn’t gone from shit to worse under Pioli, actually he plays well when he enters and he still is a back up.
Ambros will be a back up but will still feel as part of the group like Eder and will still do his part when coming on… That’s the most important thing Pioli has come with to the squad; everyone feels part of the group
