Inter’s mercato looks to be situated in Rome for the most part. Premium Sport report that Inter are keeping tabs on players from both Roma and Lazio. Things on the Kostas Manolas front have slowed down but this could be down to Inter having an agreement with Stefan de Vrij. Radja Nainggolan appears the favourite of the Giallorossi midfield to be sold but Inter have instead enquired about Kevin Strootman.

Getting Naigoglain would be amazing but also expensive. For them to sell to us would cost around 60-80 mil easy. Same goes for Strootman, who I do not want
Plus we are strong in midfield already.
Gagli shows promise, while Kdog is improving.
Banega, Brozo and JM, although different in style of play, are already sufficient, when they play well.
Cant imagine, having Radja (while his style is my favourite midfield today) would add more problem, unless we sell first, dat would be different.
tbh Nainggolan is better than any of our current midfielders, that is just a fact. I would not mind selling Brozobitch and Banega to fund the purchase of him, lets say we get 25M from each and pay 60M for Nainggolan. That would be good business.
Then we would have: Gagliardini, Kondogbia, J.Mario and Nainggolan. If we would add someone like Lorenzo Pellegrini from Sassuolo to this mix, it would look like our midfield would be set for next season. Although I know that Roma has some kind of buyback option on him.
Corentin Tolisso from Lyon could also be a good option to look at. He has a bit similar characteristics with Nainggolan. He might be the cheaper but non proven option. Also younger.
agree to selling both Banega and Brozo to fund Nainggolan. Buth 60 is a bit large imo, but as long as we have the money to spend, why not.
Problem is, our focus should not the midfield area That area however need improvement, I must say, it wont take that much of investment. Our fullback, this is where we need to put our head around.. They worried me the most. Plus, if we are not gonna use Gabigol, we clearly need vice-Icardi
True, we need proper fullbacks who can defend and support the attack with their runs and crosses. In my eyes Ricardo Rodriguez would be a great addition to our squad. I have always been impressed by his abilities. As for right side, I don’t have a number one choice.
Lets hope we will have a succesfull summer and get some quality players early so they have time to get to know each other and familiarise with the playstyle.
And I hope that Gabigol would get a chance, I mean he has not played at all so it would be total stupidity on our part to sell him now. like Coutinho 2.0.

Roma needs to sell due to the FFP agreement they made – not much they need if I remember corrrectly but still, plus they don’t have a rich sugger-daddy to finance they transfers or their new stadium BTW so they need some money in the bank.
Besides players like Strooman and Manolas are refusing to sign new contract meaning now is the time for Roma to sell! Getting Nainggolan would be awesome!!
