Sky Sport reports that Javier Zanetti, Giovanni Gardini and Steven Zhang were present at Appiani Gentile and reassured Stefano Pioli that the club has faith in him whilst underlining the importance of qualifying for Europe.
Furthermore Sky reports that Mauro Icardi and Roberto Gagliardini trained a part from the rest of the squad as a precaution, there is no need to worry whether or not either player is in risk of missing the derby on Saturday. Icardi will return to training with the rest of the squad tomorrow whilst Gagliardini continues to do rehabilitation exercises in order to be fit for Saturday’s match.
