Giuseppe Ursino, Crotone’s sporting director spoke on the Squali’s historic victory over Inter to ItaSportPress.it: “Beating Inter was a dream come true. A few years ago in Milan they probably did not know our club. Stefano Pioli’s team had to win to stay in the Champions League race while we needed points for salvation. The boys are overcome by playing a wonderful game against a great team. Our merits shall not be erased even if many think that the win came more from the demerits of Inter. On the pitch we were superior to Pioli’s team for 45 minutes, then in the second half they came out as they have a very high technical level.”
