Marco Verratti spoke to BeIN Sports on L’Equipe’s claims that he had “two wild nights” after PSG were knocked out of the Champions League to Barcelona: “The criticism of my life off the pitch are things I will never understand in football. When I stop playing I won’t miss it [the criticism of my private life]. Behind a computer or television, everyone writes what they want. When it comes into my private life speaking about it is not a normal thing. I do not accept it. I felt bad things about me, I said nothing. at one point I thought it must stop.”
