Through an official press release, Sevilla have expressed their disagreement with the interest on the part of the AFA (Argentine Football Association) against the coach of the Andalusian team, Jorge Sampaoli, rumoured to replace the sacked Selección coach Edgardo Bauza. The club believes this is a lack of respect the fact that the president of the AFA Claudio Tapia will travel to Spain to meet Sampaoli, as well as Diego Pablo Simeone (Tapia is expected to be in Iberia tomorrow). Meanwhile, Sevilla have announced that they will assert their rights if the Argentine Football Federation will begin negotiations with the Chilean coach. News from Argentina believe that Sampaoli has requested a contract until 2022, when the World Cup will take place in Qatar.
