What a derby, lots of actions. The tifos were on point as expected and the stadium was booming, the only thing that could make it better if it was player at evening as usual.
Icardi finally got a goal against Milan and broke the curse, I’m sure there are a lot to follow now. He ha salso now scored against every Serie A team. Gagliardini is so crucial to our team, we play so much better with him. And he also makes Kondogbia stand out, meaning our midfield as a whole improves a lot when he plays. Handanović was a god as usual. Joao Mario needs to be starting again ahead of Banega, he was great today. Overall, I like our performance.
As far as Milan goes, Bacca was useless pretty much the whole game. Their wingers were the ones causing problems, Deulofeu is really hard to mark. Donnarumma and De Sciglio should do better at the first goal. They did well today and didn’t give up without a fight, it definitely wasn’t a one sided affair.
Inter is in a really confusing »Pazza Inter« spot. We lose to Crotone and Sampdoria, then play good against Milan and they barely scrape a point. So inconsistant, at our best we are easily good enough for CL spots, at our worst, we don’t deserve EL. Serie A is really close now between Lazio, Atalanta, Inter, Milan and even Fiorentina. We could finish 4th or 7th/8th.
