According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Daniele Orsato was well within his rights to add extra time to the minimum of five of injury time due to other stoppages.

I can bet to my house that if that Zapata kick didn’t put the ball in the net at that dying minute, the second after the ref will blew the whistle for penalty… this is ridiculous, when can we enjoy the clean game in Italia? I love the game, I love Inter but got cheated since 90s kinda tiring and not good for my soul…
Wasn’t it originally that extra time was 6, but they accidetally showed 5. But the question is where the hell he got those 6 minutes from in the first place? This original 6 sounds like an excuse to give +2 minutes on added time that just doesn’t happen. Anyways, glad this match really wasn’t that important as our season is pretty much over.

Ok, not talking about excuses here, but if you really want to calculate the stoppage time for the 90 minutes it would be around 25 minutes for each game. So if the referee wants to recapture every second wasted the game will become basketball
fuck them the game would end when bilan scored the ref was waiting for that, he should not add 1 min for biabiany substitution and another 1 min for locatelli yellow card these are part of the game they do substitution in the end to WASTE 30 sec everyone does it in any country they dont do it to add 1 min lol
True, I was watching that game with my wife and when the ref announced 5 min stoppage time she was like “whaaaaat?” how did he count them, I told her the game will end wih a penalty for Bilan, lol.. it wasn’t like that but the scenario didn’t change
