Speaking to Radio CRC, Sassuolo president Giorgio Squinzi has outlined his targets for next season: “This year we have missed so many opportunities and we have played a lot of matches without a number of injured players. In a normal season, we would have been in contention to qualify for Europe, but we will look to try again next year because my goal is to play in the Champions League.”

As for the squad, Squinzi assures: “I hope to be able to keep all our best players next season, so they can play an important role which we are all accustomed to. Sassuolo knows what to do and I don’t think players will leave.”
