Premium Sport journalist Marco Barzaghi Tweeted a snapshot of Steven Zhang hugging Stefano Pioli prior to boarding the bus to leave the Stadio Artemio Franchi.
FcInterNews.it report that this is a difficult moment for Inter and Stefano Pioli so Steven Zhang has demonstrated a lot of sensibility via this gesture. Barzaghi tweeted out the photo with the caption that “this gesture is worth more than a 1000 words.”

Zhang probably whispered in pioli’s ear “uuu muddafukka”!!!!
yaya toure would have been good or inter, but again he doesnt know the language nor has he played int he league. we needed pirlo last year in the jan windon and maybe we would ended up in a higher position last year. Now I wish we get de rossi this summer or someone that has played in the league and is good, lucas biglia hopefully
I really can’t understand why after so many changed coaches, we still believe that this is the ultimate solution?!?! Albert Einstein definition for insanity is doing same things over and over again, but expecting different results!
Respect for Steven Zhang for this meaningful gesture in such a hard time! Only when all interisti get together, support each other, not looking for some fast, deceitful success, we can achieve something that will last!
There are two ways to go; either we blame the coach (as usual) and sack him or we look at what has happened for years with the same squad.
Under Mancini, under De Boer and now under Pioli we have played well for one half then the morons who actually steppes onto the pitch get brain dead and do something completely stupid. Something the coach really isn’t responsible for.
Hearing Pioli saying the team lacks concentration and only plays well in one half, and when facing problems in the game the team into a “small team”, is excatly the same as Mancini said and his solution was to make the club buy experienced quality players, leaders who could show the young lad the way through truble. But your stupid management refused and said they want to spend on youngsters so Mancini left.
In stead of giving Pioli an older leader in midfield he was giving a young, very green Gagliardini who is super talented but who isn’t a leader yet. And actually that’s what wrong with this team- on the field they lack 1-2 strong leaders, players like Samúel, Cambiasso, and Militto!
If we sack Pioli but keep spending on youngsters the problem will remain the same!
More than agree
Hmmm… I see your point but, for example, teams like Monaco and Dortmund are mostly made of young players and one or two experienced guy. They still manages to do well.
The problem is we dont buy smart way too many times and give renewals to players everybody knows they won’t become anything more than average or are already past their prime. That’s the thing I can’t understand about Inter.
One example, after having seen a few games from Dembele with Rennes last year, I was like this kid is amazing and watching a couple interviews of him, he seemed very intelligent too. I was hoping Inter would get him.
What happens ? He goes to Dortmund (a team that knows how to invest in youngsters) for a lil less than 30M and we splash even more on Gabi and make a special presentation like he is the new Ronaldo, for what ? He sits on the bench and Palacio (I wonder why was he renewed ?) gets more playing time than him. Epic fail.
I’m very happy you should mention Monaco because they are a perfect example on how to build a great team: everyone know the youngsters they have, Mendy, Mbappe, Bernardo , Bakayoko, but perplexing forget the leaders in the squad. Players with great experience and around 30 years. These players are: Falcao, Glik, Moutinho, Raggi and the goalkeeper Subisic.
They have the right mixture of experienced quality players who can help out the youngsters on the pitch, while we lack excatly that.
And don’t forget dumbo and yogatomo epic renewals. Fio game must have slapped Inter management with a reality check that our fullbacks have been really really suck since the treble year. No wonder we got conceded so fukin’ easily from counter attacks. Ask all mighty Crotone.
As they hugged, Zhang whispered into his ear “hasta la vista, baby”. Hehe jk.
Wow…is this a total support…or the last goodbye…?
One hand hug
He will be going to China soon!
