Top player, but no chance he will chose Inter.
Alot of big teams will be after him in the summer.

Maybe you’re right, but the leader can be the coach, with Simeone there will be no need in finding a new leader on the pitch. We can’t have Belotti with Icardi around, but I’m ok if we stick with him haha. On the other way, I would love to have Schick next to Icardi, in Simeone’s 4-4-2 maybe :D.
The coach is always the leader off the pitch, before and after the game. But while playing the games the players need someone on the pitch to lead. Someone to look to, who always takes responsibility and tells everyone to give him the ball or to get their acts together and start to work. Roy Keane wasn’t a great footballer but as a captain he made a huge difference to the Utd team.
Mancini talked about getting a leader on the pitch – his enlarged right arm so to speak. Someone who thinks and acts the way Mancini would do and who would be able to guide the players through bad moments every game goes through. Mancini wanted Yaya but got Melo…
About the Bellotti/Icardi paring I don’t agree: Bellotti started his career as a winger and today he plays as a striker, but a striker who runs like no one else in his team. He’s working rate is enormous! And with that working rate next to a player like Icardi, who by nature is more static and who prefers to lure in the box – it surely could work!
Besides I personally prefers a system with two strikers on top who helps each other out and I’d like to see us with Simeone’s 4-4-2 like you mentioned, or with our own good old 4-1-2-1-2 system. Because historically we have never won much playing with wingers.
I can’t remember what system Trappatoni used, but I think it was a 3-5-2 with no typical wingers, okay Cuper came close to winning with his 4-4-2 otherwise I can’t remember when we won with a wing based system?
We have had the greatest success with a non-wing based 4-1-2-1-2 system. And that’s also the system I’d love to see Gagaliardini next to Kondogbia in as our two box to box players, and with Mario as our attacking midfielder or if James arrives play in stead of Kondogbia as a box to box player and with Bellotti and Icardi on top, with a quality leader as our defensive midfielder!
Would be awesome to get him as our new full back. I know he plays midfield now, but we need a quality fullback more than a midfielder
Trust me, we need a midfielder too. Kondo is not enough to be Gagliardini’s partner and Fabinho would be perfect. Just take Zappacosta for the RB spot he’d be a perfect option.
