Monaco’s vice president Vadim Vasilyev has attempted to deter interest in Monaco’s many talents in an interview with TeleFoot: “We do not need to sell. The budget is balanced. For the moment, no player has expressed a desire to leave. We’ll talk calmly and I believe that with the World Cup coming in 2018, Thomas Lemar, Mbappe and also Bernardo Silva will not want to leave the team.”

Vasilyev also spoke on head coach Leonardo Jardim: “He has a contract with us, we are very happy, and we see no reason to separate with him.”
