No Mbeppe should stay at home for 1-2 years I agree but why not James? We went for him last summer so now, when he seems interested in leaveing he should not be an unrealistic target. Not when we have shit loads of money to spend!

What? Win-less? Historically Inter have done MUCH better playing a non-winger system. If I remember correctly Trappatoni played 3-5-2 when he would the scudetto, okay Cuper came close with his 4-4-2 but didn’t win.
And of course all our resent titles were won with the 4-1-2-1-2 system under Mancini and later Mourinho, who started with his 4-3-3 but very quickly changed to 4-1-2-1-2 (I know he played an ultra defensive 4-5-1 against Barca and Bayern with Eto’o as wing back but normally he played 4-3-1-2).
And with Gagliardini, Kondogbia and Mario all being more box-to-box players by nature it would make perfect sense to play them in that system with a defensive midfielder to guide their backs and a quality play maker with a great shot in front, plus to hard working strikers on top! Icardi needs help in the box I think!
