Inter and Napoli coaches Stefano Pioli and Maurizio Sarri have decided to field the following 22 players in tonight’s Serie A fixture at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district.
Miranda will be replaced by Murillo after the Brazilian stopper suffered a last minute injury whilst Eder replaces Ivan Perisic who isn’t feeling well whilst Brozovic replaces Kondogbia. The complete lineups:
Inter (4-2-3-1): Handanovic; D’Ambrosio, Medel, Murillo, Nagatomo; Gagliardini, Brozovic; Candreva, Joao Mario, Eder; Icardi.
Napoli (4-3-3): Reina; Hysaj, Albiol, Koulibaly, Ghoulam; Zielinski, Diawara, Hamsik; Callejon, Mertens, Insigne.
Our management is a joke… I’m not too high on Pioli, don’t see him as the long term coach for Inter, but its been clear for several years now that our defense sucks. How do you expect a coach to do well with this defense. Yet management continues to invest in other departments and their “gifts” to fans are always a MF or an attacking player. Enough is enough, invest in the defense.
If I see one more signing of a MF or attacking player before several defenders I’m going to lose it, I’ve had enough with this crap. And stop resigning/giving contract extension to mediocre/shitty players.
Guess that´s one of the reason for Mancini leaving?!

Murillo once is a best young player in america, medel is the winner of copa america, miranda is class even tho he’s old, andreolli is a decent cb..
Shame the Gagliardini loan has a an obligation to buy, he is just as braindead as Kondogbia tbh.
I wouldnt mind completely revamping the midfield in the summer, kicking everyone except Jaoa Mario out. Get a top DM to fix the obviously issue between defense and midfield and then new CM’s who actually has some real ideas when moving the ball forward.
The combined brainpower of all Inters midfielders is barely equal to that of one average intelligent person tbh. Lack of brains in the midfield is a big issue tbh.

We should only change coach if we can get a true world class coach, someone with a great name who can attract the best players. And SImeone and especially Conte after his coming the “double” in the England fits that bill!
He´s a former Juve legend I know, but still, when you want to focus on Italians in the future and to build a core of Italians then a former national team coach who knows all about all the players in Italy and their potential plus his team manager fits that bill perfectly!
Plus Conte build a core of Italians a Juve, a core made up by the defenders and the goal keeper and midfielders so he could do the same for us!
After spending about 100 million in summer we are doing worse than we did last season. Remember, Milan, Roma and Napoli spent pennies compared to us and lets not forget Lazio and Atalanta who spent nothing. In the last 7 years, we have had more than 7 coaches (more than 1 for every season). We have seen hundreds (it feels like it) of shit players come and go. The problem is the manager! Or maybe, the “MANAGEMENT”?

The management is to blame for not having faith, encouraging and sticking with Mancini no doubt, he finished 4th last season with more points than we will get this season, with a vastly inferior squad.
Also the coach choices were bad. A young FdB with no time to prepare and no serie a experience. Then ofcourse appointing ridiculous no-name Pioli whos biggest coaching accomplishment is to have won the U17 championship with Bologna…

Yeah they really fked FDB and the team over by making that decision. If management was not sold on Mancini they should’ve let him go at the end of last season, that was the biggest mistake. And I agree Pioli is a mediocre coach at best… Also they’re wasting money on “gifts” (aka Gabi) just to say to fans that “see we’re investing money on the club,” instead of actually fixing the teams issues.

The reason I’m mentioning Kondo here is because the Gaglia-Kondo duo is just getting bad. Out of the two, Gaglia is superior in everything but dribbling. We need actual midfielders, ones that can produce anything, not just pass to wingers.

part of the problem is also our instability.. always bringing in tons of new players and coaches, always restarting. it psychological most of it.. remember pioli effect at the beginning we all agreed he was amazing.. well maybe he is but the players are either too overconfident or not confident at all. we NEED satability and continuity!

There was no “Pioli” effect, it was just the effect of a new environment that often happens initially when changing coaches. The same thing happened when Ranieri took over from Gasperini and then when Strama took over from Ranieri.
Its a honeymoon period that doesnt reflect much of the coach apabilities. That honeymoon has been over for a while now and we are now seeing Piolis level.
true we always see that with changing coaches… but if they’re actually capable of producing at that level, they should be able to do so more or less stable, if the right mindset is nourished
Yes that effect disappear after he being incosistent with his own formation.. Not telling him to stick with 1formation.. But when the team is on a good run and suddenly he change his own winning formula everything get fcked up..
I remembered the beginning of this disaster is when he change to 3 backs against juve..
well you could argue that, but if the team where really coherent they should be able to switch formation I think.. and he only switched because our fb’s are too weak which is really showing
