Piero Ausilio was granted permission to push on with transfer negotiations by Inter owner Jindong Zhang who was in Milan over the weekend Gazzetta dello Sport report. Zhang didn’t do anything of major significance while in Italy despite it being thought contract renewals would be handled while he was there.

Inter have emerged as serious contenders for AS Roma star Daniele De Rossi and according to Sky Italia the nerazzurri have offered the Italy star a two-year, € 5.5 million-a-year deal.
Inter are looking for a leader in the middle of the park and the nerazzurri believe De Rossi could be the right man especially because his contract with AS Roma expires in June. AC Milan and Juventus have also being linked with a move for the experienced midfielder who, however, would prefer not to leave the capital as he has grown in the club’s academy spending his whole career with the giallorossi.
De Rossi rejected AS Roma’s first ontract offer a few weeks ago but given Inter’s approach the giallorossi have also made an improved offer to persuade De Rossi to stay at AS Roma.
Still according to Sky Italia, AS Roma have offered their experienced midfielder a new one-year, € 3.5 million deal. The player’s salary could raise to € 4 million with add-ons and the club are also going to add an option to extend the De Rossi’s stay at the Olimpico for one more season.
De Rossi will now consider both offers but at the moment, a permanence
at AS Roma is believed to be the most likely option given AS Roma’s new
offer.

How about finding a new coach before even thinking about the mercato.
If Poli stays (god forbid) then reaching top 4 will be impossible regardless who is bought anyways, so there would be no point in spending big, save that for the 18/19 season in that case.
Ausilo will buy random players for random position like he always does. Ausilio do you have any specific strategy in mind? I better hope he does or else we are struck with him till 2020.

I agree. He spent last summer 100 million, and nothing changes. He isn’t suit for a sport director, he is a good consultant, but he haven’t any idea how build a team or improve a squad. First of all, the club should be finished looking a new coach, rather looking for a real sport director, Ausilio isn’t.

What stupidity If true. Buying/ players before next season coach has been confirmed is bad management.
Maybe they already appointed the coach for next season.
And already made an agreement for coach requested player.
