Due to good relations between the Nerazzurri and Samp, Juventus are effectively out of the race to sign the Czech forward. The deal to sign him is likely to be around the 35 million euro mark. The only thing that could derail the deal is English clubs.

Berbatov’s career died in Manchester, he would have been a beast in Italy. Shick’s last goal v Toro was pure class and he starts to impress me, but I fear he won’t get much chances with Mauro in the team. I think we need more of a fake 9 player – fast, agile, great dribbler, a vice Palacio.

I have wanted us to play 442 for years cause it’s so perfect.
I don’t know if u remember or not, we were playing it with Ranieri (Ricky – Motta – Cuchu – Cou, Sneijder was injured) and we won 9 games in a row. Then Sneijder came back and we switched to 4312 because of him, sold Cou and Motta and got raped for the rest of the season.
Better. Think, a cross between Lewandowski & Dybala. Not as quick as Dybala, or akin to only remain in the middle, like Lewandowski, but he’s technical, tall & moves in the channels.
He could replace Icardi as the only striker if & when Icardi is injured or suspended. He’d offer more movement & involvment in the build-up play. He could play off Icardi if needed. Move in the spaces, & either take shots or do lay-offs.

Don’t get me wrong. I like Schick a lot. But LB position should be our top priority. Rodgiguez release clause of 22m isn’t that high. If we don’t go higher than 14m as reported we won’t get him. And it’s not about Rodriguez per se. With 14m you’re not getting any top left back. As simple as that.
I hope they get someone else than Rodriguez that’s good then. Rodriguez played a shit game again last weekend against Bayern. His form is really worrying.
I haven’t watched him this year but till last year he was really good. His drop in form this year could be the result of the Wolfsburg struggling this year.

Barbosa can be a super winger, with great dribbling skills, we need someone like him to tear apart opponent defence. Our coach is too gutless not to play him.
