Canovi: “I hope Verratti can stay at PSG. Schick is very strong”

During an interview with TMW Radio, Thiago Motta’s agent Alessandro Canovi spoke about the future of his client’s PSG teammate Marco Verratti: “I know his agent very well, and I hope he can stay at PSG. The French club does not need money, and therefore does not have to sell the former Pescara midfielder. But I’d rather not talk about players who are not managed by me.”

Canovi also discussed young Sampdoria striker Patrik Schick, who is on the radar of several top European clubs: “He is a very strong footballer, and there are very few like him in Europe. I know for sure that many top clubs are watching him him, so Inter will face a great deal of competition. Are the Nerazzurri in pole position? It’s an economic matter, as he is also coveted by foreign clubs. Samp should be applauded if they manage to keep him.”
