There will be a revolution across the board for Inter in the summer. Gianluca Di Marzio reports that even Joao Miranda is at risk of being sold with the only defender certain to remain being Danilo D’Ambrosio. Inter have a number of targets for the defence Kostas Manolas, Stefan De Vrij , Antonio Rudiger and Felipe, two of which they will sign. The Nerazzurri have offered a two year deal to Daniele De Rossi but it is likely that he will renew with Roma. For the attack, Inter are likely to decide between Domenico Berardi or Federico Bernardeschi.

Bernardescchi is much more flexible than Berardi! Both are 23 if I remember correctly and bot started out as right wingers and are left footed BUT Bernardescchi has evolved into a great attacking midfielder in the center of the pitch where as Berardi is still “only” a right winger who drops into the middle of the pitch and shots with his left foot – like Robben, but quite predictable.
Manolas and De Vrij togehter would be superb and I´m all in for De Rossi too!
I´ve been saying for a while we need a leader in the middle of the pitch and he is exactly that! He could be our “Pirlo”. Not that he has the same technical skills as Pirlo, but when he left Milan everyone thought he would be “dead” – but in stead he moved to Juve and made them take the next step up in quality! Besides he already knows Gagliardini from the national team!
Or De Rossi could be another Palacio or Vidic with old legs and long costly contract.
Could be… still, palacio was a quality players for us and single handed kept us in the top flight for a couple of years after Milito and co left..
Vidic never played in Italy and therefor was a huge gamble whereas De Rossi knows everything there is to know… Would like him as our leader infront of the defense behind Gagliardini and Mario. Both needs an experienced player to help them out .
De Rossi is 34 before next season starts. He knows everything but so does Palacio right now. Palacio’s old legs just don’t allow him to execute the plays he wants to do.
I know – but everyone said the same about an “old” Pirlo when he signed for Juve. But if you build the team around him and let the younger players run and let him do the leading/shouting on the field I´m sure he´ll be a quality signing! We need someone to show the way for the younger players like Pirlo did at Juve. (And now I´m taking about these two players and their leadership abilities not their skills as players).
Of course there´s always the risk he gets a lot of injuries but still; with no CL next season he will get time during the week to recover for the weekend and that will prevent injuries from happening (I hope 😉 ).
Imagine us signing both Manolas and De Vrjj.
