Great article! And I agree – let´s just give Pioli the summer to clean up the squad and build a stronger team for the future (2018 when Simeone is free to join).
But this isn’t true, as far as I know:

– The budget talked about was for 2016, which was only partially met, true – this summer we´ll need to balance the books, not next summer! This years budget will be approved in the Autumn 2017 or 2018 before the European competitions start again.

why do you people blame the coaches decisions? it’s like when Mazzarri would pick Nagatomo – Jonathan for the wings you fans would say that’s a horrible decision but the truth is THEY WERE THE BEST WING BACKS INTER PROVIDED FOR HIS FORMATION ! If you give a coach shit to work it, he’s going to pick the best pieces of shit to play. I still have faith in Suning. They seem to be a group that knows what to do and how to run things without getting too emotional (meaning firing the coach after 2 lost games – Moratti style) and hopefully they got a plan on how to get the club back on track starting with the management.
Juventus could be the role-model – they made a long term plan when going into Serie B and never acted in panic and kept buying players from Serie A clubs and Italians who new what playing for Juve was all about, not overrated no-names from abroad.
That´s what I hope Suning does – spend shit loads on quality players already familiar with Serie A and keep faith in the coach to get some stability at the club and in the squad.
