It’s all about flexibility! Having a man in the middle of defense who knows how to go forward like Medel or the role De Rossi is meant to get for us, will create flexibility in defense/midfield.

Atalanta and Lazio both plays with 3 at the back very often and Roma once in a while too and both are MUCH better at everything than us…
If you play like Mazzarri you’ll keep 3 defenders at the back all the time – if you do like Pep, Conte and more you’ll have two markers and one player who’s more like a defensive midfielder, capable of moving forward as an extra midfielder and that’s what a flexible system is all about!
I prefer to watch 442 or 4231, like the teams of Mou, Simeone, Wenger, Low, Anchelotti and etc.

That’s why systems doesn’t matter at all – we got retards in defense and they will suck in any system there is. But according to rumors we’re going for 2 new center denfeders plus De Rossi who is earmarked to play in the middle at the back in a role similar to the one Medel has for Chile. In that system he will pop forward once and a while changing the system from a 3 at the back to a 2 at the back system – every system should be flexible and Conte is very known to be excatly that.
Gurdiola’s Barca and Bayern also played this very flexible system and did well.
But we need better players – THATS for sure! And having a world class coach on the bench like Conte or Simeone would make it much easier to attract these players.
I am afraid he’ll become another Lippi if he joins. It just shows how desperate and clueless our management is.
