According to Turkish outlet Fanatik, former Roma and Palermo defender Simon Kjaer travelled to Milan to speak with the director’s of both Inter and Milan recently.

The Danish international who currently playf for Turkish giants Fenerbahce in the Süperlig, is believed to prefer a return to Italy or France and in particular a top club over all other destinations. Premier League outfit Liverpool have showed an interest in the 28-year old Dane in the past as well whilst Walter Sabatini’s appointment by Inter’s owners Suning as technical coordinator could put things in favour of the Nerazzurri since it was the former Giallorossi Sporting Director Sabatini who acquired the centre back from Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg on a loan deal for Roma back during the 2011-12 season.

Simon Kjaer joined his current employers back in 2015, signing a 4 year deal but after having spent 2 successful seasons with the Istanbul club he wants another go in one of the biggest European leagues.
