Last week Besiktas made an enquiry about Inter’s Caner Erkin, who is currently on loan with them. They requested his services for free due to his long term injury but BeIN Sport today report that Inter have made a counter proposal. Inter are happy to allow Erkin to remain with Besiktas on loan again next season with a compulsory redemption fee of 1 million euro – the same fee in the current loan agreement – to be paid after 15 games. Besiktas appear willing to accept Inter’s proposal for the renewed loan.
Erkin joined Inter on a free transfer last summer from Besiktas arch rivals Fenerbahce while Roberto Mancini was in charge but upon his sacking, Erkin was not deemed as part of Frank de Boer’s plans and shipped back home to Turkey on loan.

There is a report Milan has agreed 18 mil plus bonuses with Wolfsburg for Rodriguez. If that’s true Ausilio better have a good alternative for him.
I didn’t like Rodriguez anyways. I think he’s the poor man version of Lichtensteiner. Zhang has the money, he can bring in Alaba if he wants to. As we discussed, our problem is space. And Ausilio is actually busy with that (I refer you to his agreement with Besiktas for Erkin)
Yeap, space is a problem. I’m not also crazy about signing Rodriguez mostly because of the poor season he has had. But there isn’t too many alternatives. You can’t be serious with that Alaba stuff. He would never leave Bayern for us nor would they even sell.
Read somewhere Ausilio should be serius about Mendy from Monaco
Hopefully we get Mendy. He is a physical beast and a good crosser. His defending is not amazing, but I hope he can improve that department. Even Maicon was never a really good defender, but still he was one of the most important of our players. Mendy would be the best option in my opinion, but there is a huge competition for him.
Haven’t noticed Mendy before this season and he is still very young but seem like a true talent and a great option for the left full back.
Maicon played in a system (4-1-2-1-2) where the player who player on the right hand side of the diamond midfield – Zanetti, dropped in and covered for him when he went forward.
With the current squad we haven’t got the players to do the same defensive work from the midfield so getting a left back who knows how to defend is very important. But the squad will be strengthened in the summer, no doubt about that, plus Mendy is young and can improve his defending too!
Then pray that we get a brave manager. Cause Mendy will be nailed to the bench if a coach like Pioli or Mancini in charge, due to his deficiencies in defense…
