Inter midfielder Roberto Gagliardini is the next guest on Inter Channel show Caffe Doppio and an excerpt of his interview has been released: “Joining Inter, then immediately in the national team and also receiving some criticism: there have been many emotions in the past few months. Now, if I think about where I was a year ago and where I am now, I am very happy. I try to give my best yet: it is only the first step. Upon arriving, the team was doing well, there was a run for the top positions, then the sudden.”
Gagliardini then spoke on Inter’s current situation: “We have to get out of the soon as possible. We can not afford to have these. It’s up to us to prove through facts, beyond the target that we are going to achieve. We must fight for ourselves and for the fans.”
The 23 year old spoke on his first goal and his lack of celebration: “Unfortunately, it was something a bit held back because it was held against Atalanta, but still beautiful: I hope to celebrate again soon.”
